Get Set for Summer
at Sky.
We and some members of our classes did a day of Line Dancing
for the staff at Sky TV, Livingston on the 27th June 2009. Below

NEWS FLASH ****
We have started a new Line Dance Class
in Bathgate in the Afternoons !!
The Details are:
The
Monday Afternoon from 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm,
at Acredale House, Bathgate.
The
Bear Essentials are based in Livingston, Scotland.
I have been Line Dancing for over 18 years, and have been an instructor
for over 17 years. Kat Joined the Club 7 years ago.
We now run The Bear Essential Western Line Dance Classes three times
a week where all are welcome to join in.
Linedancers ~ Westerners ~ Social Dancers ~
or sit and listen to good country music.

In addition to our everyday line dance classes we also do demonstrations
at gala days, Fetes, schools and we are also available for teaching
at events and festivals with (or without) our B.K's Country Music
& Line Dance Disco playing old, new and traditional country
music.
Dance
Floor Etiquette.

Dont's
on the Dance Floor.
• Never carry any Drinks or Glasses onto or Across the Dance
Floor
• Always
walk around the edge of the Dance Floor
• Never walk through lines of moving dancers
• Never stay on the floor to chat after dances, move off the
floor
• Remember to applaud live Bands
• When around Beginner's please be courteous and try to help
them
• If you happen to bump into someone apologise even if you
are not to blame
• Be polite when requesting Dances to a DJ
• When starting a dance go to the front of the floor so others
can join behind you
• Try to leave the outside edge for Couple Dancers
• Those dancing on the outside have right of way, do not block
their path
• Line Of Dance (LOD) is always anti-clockwise
